Good player on bad contract = bad value
Bad player on good contract = equal bad value
Difference is with good player you can win. With bad player you can't.
We won championship while paying him $40M. He was never problem a problem, trading him for **** is not a solution.

Agreed of not doing something drastic just to shake things up. More improvement from Braun, Strauther, and Watson. Holmes being back from injury. Bring back WB? Then have to hit your MLE signing, probably another big. Could see them bringing back Bruce Brown as well.

I'm sure they'll be active in trade talks, dangling MPJ and even Murray. Which they should be, but ultimately I think a couple small moves would go a long way for them.
