I really think if Giannis hits the Market there will be several much better offers.

Maybe there are and maybe there aren’t. The only teams that should consider a deal for GA are contenders and near contenders. That is not 15 teams. More like 5 or 6.

I was hoping and expecting this to be one of the first replies. You did not disappoint. Jroy have it all.

Doesn’t Bam have significant value?

Low end talent? Damn. That’s hilarious. There are good players on that roster but you do you.

The Heat just won 37 games in the Leastern Conference and were swept by a million points. I think it's fair to question how good the players on the team actually are.

That’s fair but Jimmy forcing his way out of town and the trade at the deadline adds context to their record and PO performance.

Can’t Bam to a third team create more value for what you think makes a good offer for the Bucks?

They project as a play-in team next year, with some downside of being below even that. Upgrading Bam with Giannis doesn't turn that meh roster into a contender.

I mean Giannis got the Bucks to 4 in the east this year with a worse roster

If Giannis is leaving at all he wants a huge roster upgrade, not one you can say was a bit better than another bad roster.

I mean I’ve been to Milwaukee and I’ve been to Miami. The no state income tax thing? Idk man. It’s not like the Heat can’t make any further additions after the trade. I guess we can just agree to disagree.

What will Bam be worth from a third team?

There are actual good rosters for Giannis to join with no state income tax. Texas has no state income tax for example. This has never been a good argument for getting players

I'd rather the team be moved to Uzbekistan than make this trade

how do you not even include Herro smfh

2 sh*tty players, 2 sh*tty picks, 2 swaps that won't convey unless giannis gets injured

by far the worst giannis deal I've seen proposed on here this offseason

genuinely insulting

this would be a bad package for him 2 years from now in a S&T

The context it adds is that it shows how good their team is without Butler which is the team Giannis would be joining.

Not really. Butler was half way out for the majority of the year because of his contract situation. Then in January he stepped it up and started getting suspended eventually forcing his way out. Heat got a lot of decent wing depth and a stretch five. Mitchell is a good POA defender and they’d have cap flexibility to make some other additions. I’m just not buying that the Heat have a bad roster. Mitchell/Herro/Anderson/Giannis/Ware/Jovic/Highsmith/JJJ/Robinson/Rozier is a top 3-5 seed in the East given health.

I'd love to get Bam on the Blazers. We have control over the Bucks picks from 28-30 and lots of ending contracts
