The Jazz have two second round picks that are near completely worthless to them at #43 and #53. The Jazz already have 7 guys on the active roster on their rookie contracts and will most likely draft two guys in the first round, bringing that count to 9. The draft also falls apart after 35 or so due to tons of kids returning to school for NIL money if they haven't gotten a promise. So this leaves the Jazz in control of two picks that are not very valuable in general, but are especially not valuable to them.
Is there a team out there that needs cheap depth right now and is willing to give up a 2028 second for these two picks? Like the Pacers trade their 2028 second for #43 and #53 to hopefully get another bench player for very cheap while their window is open?
What will the Jazz get for their second round picks this year?

Phoenix Houston Cleveland and Boston are pretty capped out with empty roster spots to fill.

Philly needs to save some money and has some seconds to trade... Wonder if the Jazz could do #43+#53+ using exceptions on Drummond's and Oubre's contracts to get to like three seconds in 2027 and 2028.

This is a good draft until about pick 35-40ish.
The NIL decimated the back half of the second round this year... Im not sure either of those picks will have much value outside of 'cash considerations'

If the Celtics sign the 2 picks they already have that gets them to 14. They don’t have roster spots to fill right now. Also, most likely, any Jrue/Porzingis trades likely involve taking multiple guys back which they’d make room for waiving some of the non Guarantees.
