God forbid that Spurs fans want a player with the ability to be an allstar.

Who among us project or anticipate Deni to be an allstar? Honest question…

The 2nd pick has the ability get one via trade or via draft selection. Heck, it can get someone exponentially better than Deni given the other trade assets we have.

If he is so good… let him stay in Portland and show us how awesome he is. I am okay with being proven wrong and eating crow.

Im a Spurs fan, and I believe Deni can be a All Star, and also believe his contract creates a unique position to land another star without gutting the roster because of cap issues. Hence me creating the thread.

Sure you can wish for an allstar that is better than Deni, dont think this trade changes that possibility at all, some Blazers fans were willing to give Deni, Scoot, 11 + future first for the 2nd pick here in this thread, which in my opinion is ideal and position the team to make more moves.

What other posters complained is treating any suggestion on trading the 2nd pick as laughable and mocking, while most of the other posters were ok with the trade or disagreed on the direction and explained.

Some people dont believe in Deni at all, and thats ok, but regarding him as a role player when he delivered 17/7/4 with good defense while adapting to a new team, when Siakam as a all star this year had 20/7/3.4 with worse defense compared to deni... EASY to see Deni to continue his improvement as he has every single season he played.

Your posting history, says you aren’t a spurs fan.

Nash is probably my favorite player of all-time, so I really loved The Suns, but kind of felt let down with last offseason, and trading away Dragic, The whole situation.

It is good form not to lie… all you have to do is check put a word like “fan” in a users posting history and boom… you have receipts. Takes 30 secs to find it.

Who cares? Even your "smoking gun" shows the poster to be a fan of multiple teams. Which is true of a lot of people.

But you don't need to dictate who gets to be a Spurs fan, so don't. If you have some content to contribute to his thread, please do. If you are just here to ridicule and play gotcha, just move along.

I already did and spoke my perspective on the 2nd pick. You having a “hissy fit” on other threads with other posters recently doesn’t contribute at all if you want to go down that path.

I for example am not going to all of a sudden try to say I am Mavs fan and speak for them. If someone or some mod calls me out on it, I will eat crow if they provide receipts.

I been here 10 years longer than you been registered, and you know how far and few spurs posters are around the boards and even fewer spurs trade proposals are around. So if someone says something while quoting me, I will respond accordingly.

You know believe it not, the search function was disabled for quite a time, but maybe you didn’t know that but it is there for use. So you should just walk away since you look horrible looking at your recent posts.
