What is Terance Mann's value to a team with space? I like him and in a vacuum, I think you'd pay a fake to decent 2nd to take him on for free or lesser neutral salary back. But finding actual teams that would say "this is the deal I want to make to use my space" gets a little tougher.
SAC: Terance for fake 2nd and/or Terence Davis? A dance of Tera(e)nces, if you will.
DET: Mann for Fontecchio
WAS or BKN for free?
GSW for Moody?
POR for Thybulle?
UTA for KJ?
Or is he just a good player you are fine having, but not one you wanna give up space for on his deal?

Your last sentence is the answer. But I think charlotte would be smart to get him to kind of help set their culture or something like that

He isn't worth giving anything up for and that includes capspace. I'm not saying he is a bad player, just not a valuable one, If you have him then fine you can play him. I think it makes more sense to give minutes to a younger player and get the same sort of production and hope that player develops into something more.

Maybe flip it and try teams trying to win with no assets to spare.
LAL for Vincent
MIL for Connaughton
They improve on court next year for a little extra now, and 2 years of future money.

We had a debate few days ago about Mann.
He's a glue guy, good defender, can do everything but not at a high level, main problem with him was his shooting, but he seemes to have bumped it up in ATL.
ATL paid 3 2nds for him, they value him more than the board does, keep that in mind, they aren't going to dump him or treat him as bad salary.

Thanks, I'll.look for that. Im thinking mainly if BOS acquires him in a KP deal. I like him and wouldn't mind keeping him, but just thinking of options if it came down to needing to clear the salary some more.
