I assume he’d need to pass a physical in any trade, and considering it was a viral illness that wiped out a month of his season and his performance in the playoffs, it’s not like he had another big injury. He could unlock their offense in a big way, and his asking price won’t match his talent.

i dont see how he "unlocks" their offense. they need a legit PG to do that. He is just a big that can shoot 3s.

When he is healthy and on he really is cheat code…obviously the challenge is that was less than half the time last year.

i just dont see this "cheat code". if he was really that, why would he have been traded three times?

He has rated out as one of the best post scoring and 3 point shooting bigs in the NBA the past 2 years while being a lob threat and rim protector. A big that has to be followed everywhere on the floor would do wonders for Paolo and Franz. He would immediately because the best 3 point shooter on the roster at the position where he provides the most space.

Look at all the contenders the last few years. They all have floor spacing bigs (Horford/KP, Jokic, Chet, Myles Turner/Pascal, Towns (although his defense cost the Knicks), etc.). For the worst 3 point shooting team in the NBA, a big that can drop 20 PPG on low usage while spacing the floor will make a massive difference. Considering Paolo and Franz are ball dominant players who struggle off the ball, I’m not sure a playmaking point guard even helps. I’d go the 3&D route there too.

It’s the lack of PT. When he is healthy he is amazing.
