Wait, I didn’t act like anything regarding murray. But speaking of, you are acting like we are trying to pay to get rid of our starting PG. we don’t want to get rid of him. He’ll be back mid season. It sucks he got hurt, it really really does. But we have no need to move off of him.

But let’s just say we take Maluach as a random pick. A couple months into the season, do we want Murray, Herb Jones, Jose and Maluach…..or just Garland. This isn’t a discussion

Agreed, you'd want Garland. It's basketball, you only play 5 guys at a time, individual talent > combined talent.

That's why the Pacers are in the Finals, right?

Depth matters too.

I think Hali/Pascal matter a bit..

I think if NOP offers that package, Cleveland can figure out a way to get someone who upgrades the roster better than Cam Johnson considering they would have Hunter and Herb.

I guess the idea could be trade one of the three for a guard after? If you think Cam is worth the extra step. Wonder about a Cam/Monk swap as part of this..

DJM and 7 should return a good guard to pair with Mitchell though… making up to 25 mil a year leaves some options.

Murphy has to come back in a Garland trade or it's not really worth considering.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.
