New Orleans / Denver

New Orleans outgoing

Dejounte Murray
Jose Alvarado

Denver outgoing

MPJ
'27 1st rd pick

New Orleans adds more shooting around Zion and Murphy III with MPJ. The '27 1st is a future asset.

Denver banks on Murray coming back full strength, who can start with Jamal. Alvarado is a stop gap back-up pg. Jamal/Dejounte/Alvarado is a nice pg rotation. Denver moves on from Westbrook.

Denver can't trade their 2027 1st and MPJ is more valuable than Murray.

Denver can't trade a pick until 2031. Porter is younger, healthier and better than Murray. This is bad for Denver all around.
