Jazz/76ers/Bucks

JAZZ
In: Lillard/Connaughton/3/Bucks31
Out: Markkanen/Sexton/21

The Jazz get aggressive and go after premium assets (3) and a high-variance future pick

76ers
In: Markkanen/21
Out:PG/3

They get a star, get rid of a PG at the cost of going down in the Draft.

BUCKS
In:Sexton/PG
Out: Lillard/Connaughton/Bucks31

They risk that PG will return to a good level and try to form the best possible team.

Every PG + 3 thread gets the same responses from Sixers fans for a good reason. It makes no sense.

None of the trusted reporters are saying they're interested in anything like this because they're obviously in no position to make a win now trade. If someone wants to pay come up to 3 because they love someone, I'm sure they'll listen. And if not, it's completely understandable and they'll make the pick. The one thing every well-sourced local media member agrees on is that they're not trading out of this lottery.

These trades don't work because the 76ers are in a position to reset and should be resetting.

Maybe they go against the grain, but everything we have heard and everything we can think about ourselves is screaming to pick at #3.
