That would be a good trade for Boston but does Brown really fit next to Zion?

I don’t like that for Boston both Trey and Herb are recovering from serious shoulder issues.
If the Celtics are trading Brown I really think they will hold out for a much better package or just keep him.

Who is giving that up for the privilege of overpaying Brown?

I think we are using the term “Stud” loosely.
I think a realistic Brown trade would need to be pretty complex and include a good pick and a guy with Stud potential to get Boston to bite.
I am reasonably sure he is not on the block.

WHO would want to pay Brown that kind of money? It would have to be a team with a #1 guy on the roster already.

It’s been posted.

Jaylen Briwn is inefficient, doesn’t space

But, Sabonis is more of a hub than brown for trying to make the playoffs. He’s more foundational

I'm fairly sure Boston can get a better deal then that, even if Brown's number kind of puts a limit on what they can do.

Right. I am trying to say there really aren’t realistic trade partners. I don’t know who.

Brown is one of my favorite players in the league and I'd love to have him on my team, but this just isn't true. Not remotely. It's underselling Sabonis by a wide margin.

I like this for both teams, especially if Boston can keep KP around after the deal at a discounted rate. Move Jrue for less money, move Hauser, duck the 2nd apron. You still have really good shooting and defense around Sabonis, you can spend the next year adding pieces to this core.

Pritchard - White - (Tatum) - KP - Sabonis

For Sac, It has to be a yes. This is obviously the first deal of many, DeRozan needs to be heading out ASAP. A new starting center would need to be found ideally a defensive one. But the idea of Keon - Brown - Keegan - Defensive center gives us a real defensive team for the first time in 2 decades.
