MIA in: Kevin Durant and Gabe Vincent
PHX in: #20, Nikola Jovic, Terry Rozier, Rui Hachimura, 2030 MIA FRP, 2028 LAL swap, 2030 LAL swap
LAL in: Andrew Wiggins
MIA nets KD and unloads Rozier without having to part with Ware.
PHX cashes in on KD by replenishing their draft coffers and adding some rotation players.
LAL replaces Rui with a better fitting forward that improves their perimeter defense.

Re: MIA/PHX/LAL
Been thinking about a trade like this from Lakers perspective... Wiggins is the perfect fit at the 2/3.
Curious how PHX people react to essentially take Rui instead of Wiggins for two swaps. I'd imagine they prefer to keep Wiggins - who also fits pretty seamlessly next to Book.
IMO, Lakers should try and turn the 31 1st into two picks sooner. Something like 31 1st to BK for #26 and #27. Ten use those picks to pull off these types of trades

I don't think Miami should be giving up two first round picks and Jovic for a 37 year old KD. I wouldn't do it...

IMO the value of the 2031 etc is that the wide variance allows it to be anything whereas a closer pick may have less variance.
Also, I suppose you are more likely to get that sort of a pick from a team that owns another teams picks (like UTAH) who might see the incoming value being mid-late lotto at best for '26, '27 (Wolves picks as an example) and rather have the high variance '31
For the OP - I mean 2 meh swaps, (28 meh, 30 has some appeal) 1 unprotected pick (decent value) but no 'guy' in this trade.
There really isn't a face of the trade incoming and assuming one of those picks returns actual value, then the face might be some kid in 5 years.
Ware meets the criteria of a guy. Miami could probably keep Jovic and '28 swap as compensation, but they don't want to do that.

By #26 and #27, I was referring to Brooklyn's picks this year -- not sure they need 4 1sts in a single draft -- which if Lakers re-routed to PHX with Rui, might be enough for PHX.

Oof, my reading comprehension skills

Thank you for clarifying.
I totally get the idea of taking two late picks and getting a better pick/asset, but that's not how you spend your livelihood from 2031 IMO.
