I'm, personally, not willing to trade anything of value for KD. I don't want him.

Do you think Miami would be willing if their goal is to put the best team around Herro/Bam?

I don't think they should be. I see him as fools gold. He's ruined every team he's been on since Golden State

Brooklyn got better

He almost single-handedly beat Giannis and the Bucks, being about 6 inches over a line drawn on the court in doing so.

Did KD ruin the Suns or Beal?

That’s cool if the Heat are fine with status quo. I think KD unlocks some things with Bam and with Ware off the bench as a swing big that’s potentially a dangerous frontcourt rotation all while keeping win now role players like Wiggins, Mitchell and Highsmith.

I'm not the Heat. I'm just stating my opinion. I wouldn't put those kinda of resources into a 37 year old KD.

I think with Bane getting 4-5 first rounders, the idea of a pupu platter for Durant went out the window. Miami is looking at Ware + 2 firsts to even get in the conversation…

Then we shouldn't be in the conversation. I wouldn't be in favor of getting him at a bargain price right now. If Durant were a decade younger, like Bane, sure... Anything you want... But at 37? No, I'm good.

And Orlando overpaying fora third guy doesn't mean anyone should overpay for Durant.

If Ware was on the table, the deal would have been done already.

It's more likely smth. like Wiggins / Jovic / Terry to a 3rd team (e.g. for Claxton and Nets getting some draft compensation) would be my guess.
Doubt the Suns even want picks, if they can get win now players.

That’s a done deal imo. Has everything the Suns could reasonably want in a KD deal. Much more likely that the Heat aren’t willing to do both Ware and firsts. Maybe they swap multiple firsts (including 20 and 29)? Maybe it’s seconds. But Miami isn’t there yet. If they were here the deal would be done.
