If I am Utah I counter with….best of the spurs, kings(, or any other 27 pick they own.

This is bad for Sac. We have to include a pick while giving out the best player? Absolutely not. Worst part is for what? Where the hell is Sexton-Collins-Sabonis going to take us? If were going to give up unprotected picks, it needs to be to get better. U may think a Spurs pick isnt valuable due to Wemby. But in the Western conference, every unprotected pick is valuable unless youre OKC. Suns were just a 12th seed with KD & Book. Spurs could trade for KD and have a great season this year. Then he could suffer an injury the following season since he will be 38. Which is when well get that pick.

I rather tear the team down. But if were going to compete, Sexton and Collins for Zach doesnt move the needle. Zach may have his flaws. But for a guy to give you 23 a game on 51-44-87 is absolute bonkers.

I wouldn't do this deal, I'm not nearly high enough on Sexton and Collins to attach a first to dump Lavine's deal. Without the first I would probably consider it but Utah doesn't in that case.
