the existence of Nick Richards shouldn't prevent anybody from attempting to acquire a starter or a backup.

If you don't want him, my Lakers will take him for a SRP, since the Suns are wanting SRPs lol

The Suns probably won't do that but I'll be honest you, there is little to no difference between Richards and Jaxson Hayes, except that Richards is 2.5 years older and has even less of a chance of eventually figuring how to play basketball

Still a strong dislike for cheap shot Allen in CHI. Plus they really don't need another guard

But Vucevic looks good for PHO, they probably don't look like title contenders but he gives them a solid year while they plan for their long term answer next summer. Maybe they draft a C at #10 and he learns from a veteran. So find the Allen destination that can send the Bulls something useful

Can the Bucks take Allen back using Pat C and whatever they can cobble together?

Maybe there’s a better option.

Denver with Nnaji and some combination of rookie scale guys/picks

Jalen Green + Nic Richards + 10th pick + 29th pick for Onyeka Okongwu(Jalen Green rerouted to a 3rd team)

These are just some of the options the Suns could go with. They also could draft a big with the 10th pick as well.

Hell no for Dallas. Not taking on Green, not giving up a future unprotected pick either

Did you see the Dallas was getting pick #10?

Because on value that's a win for Dallas. And on need. And I don't like Green either.

The problem with the third team options is that IF you find that third team, you won't like what they want to send back. I'm a little surprised that the Suns agreed to take Green back, but then I read that Riley tried to force feed them Robinson and it made more sense.

This is the one that makes the most sense to me. Claxton would be a huge upgrade for their current C rotation (Nick Richards and "?") and they can still get a couple decent rotation players with #19, #29, and #36. If I'm Brooklyn I'd much rather get paid to take on Green than pay Cam Thomas to do basically the same thing.

All this is assuming Phoenix still has delusions of adequacy however.

I thought you valued the variance of an unprotected pick like I do. Even with Luka there, I'd rather have that than this year's #10. I dont want Jalen Green anywhere near this team. He's to me what RJ Barrett is to you

I would make that same trade for RJ/#10 fwiw....

I do value unprotected variance. But as an asset pick 10 now is worth more than than that LA pick even if you don't like 10 prospects enough in this draft to not want to gamble on the future pick.

I see your point; I just respectfully disagree. I feel the #10 is needed for a team to take on Green; that's how bad I believe he is. So, is giving up the LAL pick worth getting rid of Klay? That's where I balk.

Still think there’s a Jalen to Dallas deal but no one likes it.

Does Dallas need Allen? With Klay/Christie I'd think Dallas needs more of an on-ball guard?

Yeah, but I’d take the upgrade over those two and figure the rest out after?

Vucevic stinks as a defender but I have to think he'd be worth more than a Grayson Allen.
