We don't chase it, we just end up there.

Nah moves like trading for Vuc, DeRozan, LaVine is definitely chasing it. Those are good players but not great ones meaning the floor is raised and the ceiling is lowered. They've wanted to avoid the bottom more than shoot for the top.

Do you disagree?

It worked well originally but it was stupidly reliant on the health of an injury prone Lonzo Ball. Once he went down, they literally did nothing and teams around us either tanked or made swing for the fences moves.

We made the play-in by default.

We have a board policy against this kind of counter, Darren. Don't.

Honestly, could you just stop patronizing everyone about what you perceive as proper valuation? I just want to minus 1 each and every idea from you and jayjaysee.

As a Moderator I am going to continue to enforce a policy that stops terrible counters. That's not being patronizing. It's my role.

If you think jayjaysee and I trying to be objective is a problem when you want us all to be Dallas homers, that's your right. I don't think jayjaysee is likely to change and I assure you I am not. I am not here to placate those who only care about the Dallas end and not what is fair. And I'm not the least bit sorry.

But I can guide you to some Mavericks echo chambers where you will be more comfortable. Just ask. But this board? Not going to be a Mavs cheerleader camp.

Yes, you are not a Mavs cheerleader. You are are the exact opposite. You are so afraid to appear as a Mavs homer that you appease to every other team.

And btw. some people some to disagree here with your assessment of a terrible counter. Huh.... I'm so glad I found the Mavs echo chamber that is the RealGM Trade Board all by myself.
