- Suns justify trading their franchise player by getting the most first rd picks ever in a trade and get under the apron
- Nets get a star and become respectable. Still have plenty of first rd picks to keep or trade going forward:

Re: Suns-Nets: D-Booklyn
Nets spending a majority of their assets to have a worse version of the 2021 Suns would be hilarious and unrealistic.

Phoenix doesn't do it with fewer 1sts, and Brooklyn doesn't do this with this many 1sts.
Brooklyn doesn't have the talent on their roster to go all-in. Cleveland did. Minnesota did. Teams with talented cores can sell off future 1sts for talent.

I’d do it with one fewer pick but Booker isn’t the right player for Brooklyn. However I don’t rule them out of doing something big that’s shortsided. They have like 20 picks over the next five years.

Re: Suns-Nets: D-Booklyn
The Nets giving up any of their own future firsts except for 2027 isn't going to happen.
The Nets could give up six first rounders (if they wanted to) without going into that hole.

Remove 2 out of 3 of those Knicks picks in your original offer and it might be something for BK to think about.

Re: Suns-Nets: D-Booklyn
Unfortunately Phoenix wouldn’t do this since they are unreasonably loyal to Booker, but they definitely should make this trade. That’s if the Nets would even go for it. Nets obviously should want Booker but this is a ton of draft picks even for a star player

Re: Suns-Nets: D-Booklyn
The Suns should easily do this.Tons of picks, along with clearing a ton of salary. Can't ask for anything more, even if the Front Office isn't interested in giving up Devin Booker. However the Nets should decline this. The Nets have long ways to go before they become a contender and Devin Booker is not going to change that.
