Bucks/Suns Swap

Post#1 » by bdpecore » Wed Jun 25, 2025 9:20 pm

Connaughton and #47 for O’Neale and #29

Bucks move up in the draft by taking on more salary in a swap of veteran wings.

Suns gains some cap relief next season since Connoughton is on an expiring deal.

Suns are giving up the better player and the better pick. The savings amounts to 700k making it a pretty easy no for Phoenix. I genuinely think the Suns can save a couple bucks against the cap and get an asset for both Oneale and Allen given their elite shooting.

If the suns need cap relief and theyre out of moves Id offer Allen for Pat straight up. Suns save 7 Million and Bucks upgrade around Giannis without caching in additional assets. But Phoenix should be looking elsewhere first

This doesn't really seem to make sense for the Suns at all who get a worse player and a worse pick to save some money next year?

Amazing deal for the Bucks, but doesn't feel very realistic as I don't see the Suns salary dumping O'Neale like this.
