Cavs: Allen, Strus, and Porter
Dallas: Lively, Washington, Martin, and Marshall
Cavs get some more SF/PF depth and a young C with upside.
Dallas gets an upgrade at C to pair with Gafford, Davis, and Flagg, another shooter to go next to Klay, and a backup pg.

0 interest from the Mavs.
Lively isn't a finished product, and has shown a pathway to be a better player than JAFRO, the odd of him doing it are lower than not dling it, but 0 reason to give it up, and on top of that an excellent modern 4.

Re: Cavs and Mavs
I don’t know about value. Allen is the best player and locked up on a really nice contract.
But I’d only want Dallas to do this if they were actually trading Gafford for a guard.
Right now Dallas could trade any of those three bigs for a good guard..
This consolidation trade takes away options of improving the area Dallas actually needs to improve..
I’m really hoping Dallas’ plan isn’t DLO and Williams. I am not a big enough Dallas fan to believe in that lasting 50 games..

Re: Cavs and Mavs
Allen at 6'9" and refusing to play through injuries in the postseason is not a guy I'd give up this much value for, and then have to eat Strus also? This is just Cleveland stealing value.

His rib was splintered. It could've punctuated a lung if he played. Fans kill me sometimes.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

Okay ignore that part. Still not worth it for Dallas. Strus sucks
