Demar + Charlotte 2026 2nd for John Collins

Utah gets an early 2nd for taking on the 10 million guaranteed to Demar next year. Can potentially flip him at the deadline for an expiring + another 2nd?

2nd round picks are worth much less than DeRozan's salary.

i have been on the john collins to sacramento train for a long time, so count me in. I think adding him really helps fix our roster balance a ton. This shifts Keegan to SF which should improve his offensive game with the smaller forward likely guarding him instead of Collins.

I have had 4 forwards on my list that I think are excellent fits for the kings both offensively and defensively.

Jazz brass have previously said that they don't want to take on money beyond next season and the moves they've made so far seem to back this up. I imagine that they would do it for the right deal with sufficient incentive, but this isn't it. DDR isn't a move in the right direction for Utah.
