Let Math cook and I’m sure you could could get 20-22ppg on average efficiency — you’re just sacrificing a little smart defense and a lot of ball movement. Might up his value into “young DeMar DeRozen” territory.
Or yeah, call Weaver/Dumars. Who knows what they’d do. Weaver chose Ivey over Math in the draft, but I know he scouted him hard. I don’t see similar levels of idiocy in Houston, so I doubt that works as well.
The young DeMar DeRozen comp is interesting. In a best case scenario DeRozen with a three point shot and the swagger of Jimmy Butler. Certainly an interesting player but, the fit with the Pacers?
Can Pacers get a young center for that archetype?
