I think I would take Kornet. Looney is solid and I think both players got a fair number. Of course, I did just watch Kornet turn into Wemby that one gave vs my Knicks so there is some bias. Kornet is a legitimate 3 point threat, can block shots. He does that weird thing where he doesn't block a shot, but jumps so that you can't see the rim when you shoot.
Is he going to get the rebound? No, but that's why the world gave us Russ
In today's market, and given the importance of a solid backup to your main guy, I don't think Kornet got overpaid. However, I don't think he's a real 3 point threat anymore. He hasn't shot them for like 5 years. People keep saying that but it hasn't been the case for a while.
