Knicks get: Monk/Carter
Kings get: JK/Kolek
GS gets: Hart/Saric
Mike Brown lets NY in on a secret, that Carter can be a cheaper version of Hart and he wants secondary ball handling and play making and has a great relationship with Monk.
GS gets a guy in Hart ready to go in their system and final runs.
Sac gets JK at around 25 per and start building out a young team that’s not all shooting guards.

Re: Knicks/GS/Kings
Pretty sure Hart makes too much for that to happen financially for GS since they can only take back half of what JK gets in a S&T.
Not sure Knicks go for it. Worth exploring in January if they do

It's true that only 50% of Kuminga's contract counts as salary GS is sending out, but they can take back more than that. In this case they would have to send out about $4.1M in addition to $12.5M from Kuminga to make it legal moneywise. A bigger problem is that it would hard-cap them at the 1st Apron, and even sending out enough to make it legal puts them right at the Apron with only 10 players.

Re: Knicks/GS/Kings
If the Kings actually wsnt to try and win, they take Hart. In fact I think you just take Hart and then sell him later.
Im 100% sure Hart has more value around the league than kuminga and thats without factoring in contracts. GSW owe here

Re: Knicks/GS/Kings
What is it with these Hart for Monk trades on this board? Hart is far better at shooting and rebounding, equal at defense, and nearly the same level of play-maker. Both have similar salaries. There is no reason the Knicks would want Monk (and/or Carter). None.
Just kick back and enjoy your final seasons with Monk, Kings fans. You've earned them.

RIP magnumt--you're literally why I'm still here on these boards.

Not to be that broken record, but the market ahs spoken on undersized guards; SImons, Sexton, etc; Monk doesnt have all that much value
