Highsmith for Knecht makes a lot of sense for both teams. The Heat add a young shooter to their young core and developmental program. They add Milton and then release him and drop below the tax threshold. The Lakers get a good 3 and D role player that would fit seamlessly into their rotation at a relatively cheap cost. They keep Rui and their 2031 pick.
