I don't know if Knecht has enough value, in fact I am pretty sure he shouldn't but maybe they could throw in a 2nd or two with him for Keon Ellis.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

I actually don't mind the bones of this deal for Hart. I just wouldn't want Rui. I like Hart a lot but the Knicks need depth in the worst way so I would prefer something like Hart for Knecht, Vanderbuilt plus some minor sweetner.

I would hate both sides of it. Hart is a lot like Westbrook. Fit with LeBron would be similar.
Hart is a high effort defender, but is above average more than he is a stopper.
He also is an unreliable shooter.

On the flip side, Hart had his best statistical season last year, but he shines as a 6th man where he can push pace and take advantage of an inferior 2nd unit.
I like Vando, but IMO Hart means too much to our team to give him up for pieces like this.

I get it but as much as Hart helps us against other team's second units we don't have enough proven quality on our second units. Vandy and Knecht are two solid rotation pieces and Knecht is young. I like another injection of youth considering our lack of draft picks. A bench of Guerschon Yabusele, Jarred Vanderbuilt, Miles McBride, Dalton Knecht and Jordan Clarkson is much better than we had last year. With further vet minimum signings and more development from Hakpori, Koleck, McCuellar Jr and Diadet we might actually have decent depth. Not like Indiana of course but still much better than last year. We can't realistically contend for the title if our starters are averaging 35 minutes plus all 82 games of the season and playoffs. They are gonna get burned out.

I think keeping Hart there and adding another vet min (that we will actually use) is a better use of our resources.

I don't put much value in Knecht personally because there are 3 of him in every draft class. If we need to find out... they are out there. Lakers already seem to have claimed Swider, but Joe Wisecamp is somewhere out there. Liam McNeeley, Cam Spencer, Jordan Hawkins -- and that's all just off of Uconn.

Okogie just got released. He might not be a starting level 2-guard, but he'd be a decent bench pickup for reserve minutes at the 2 and/or 3.

I think this trade might make sense for both. Grizzlies get 2 expiring deals to open up flexibility in 26 offseason.

PG: Ja | Pippen | Gabe
SG: Wells | Jerome | Cole
SF: Rui | Vince | Coward
PF: Aldama | Clarke | GG
C : JJJ | Edey | Landale

PG: Reaves | Goodwin | Bronny
SG: KCP | Knecht | Milton
SF: Luka | LaRavia | Konchar
PF: LeBron | Vando | Thiero
C : Ayton | Kleber | Hayes

No interest from the Grizz on this we prefer 3&D wings to cover Ja in the starting lineup.

LAL can have Klay. This package is too good for him, but something can be worked out.
