Det goes all in, w/ Utah, Chi, Miami
Chi sends CWhite to Det
Chi gets JJJ and Det's unprotected 2029 1st, plus some 2nds
Miami sends JJJ to Chi and Rozier to Utah (buyout)
Miami gets THarris
Utah sends Lauri to Det
Utah gets Rozier (buyout), Ivey, Det's 2027 unprotected 1st
Det sends Harris to Miami, their 2027 unprotected 1st to Utah along with Ivey and their 2029 unprotected 1st to Chi
Det gets CobyW and Lauri
Miami gets an easy upgrade. A front court of Harris/Ware/Bam is awesome-with Herro/Powell/Wiggins they would win A LOT of games
Bulls reset their team a bit. They deal Vuc to Char or somewhere else and build around
Giddey/TJones
Okoro/Ayo
Matas/Huerter
Pwill/JJJ
Collins/JSmith
Deep bench of Carter, Phillips, Terry and what they get for Vuc
Utah gets a needed guard prospect to go with Ace and plays fast. They tank this year full on for a top 5 pick. They go with
Ivey/Collier
George/Clayton/CWill
Ace/Sensabaugh/CWill
Henricks/Anderson
Kessler/Flip/Nurkic
They take a year to see what they have, and hope Ivey thrives with Ace and Kessler. Plus they save a ton of future $ and get another pick
Det goes for it
Cade/White
White/LaVert
Ausar/Holland
Lauri/Holland
Duren/Stewart
Deep bench of Sasser, DRobinson, Reed
Yes, it'd be an expensive team in a few years, but they could be a threat in the East now. I think that team could easily make the Finals next year. Could use a vet PG.

How is this legal salary matching wise? they are sending out 26M and taking back more than double

I’d rather keep Lauri.

Thanks, I forgot in the Det part to send Ivey to Utah.
It's $37 million to Utah, $46 to Det (I think that's legal)

Shoot, you're right
Have to send Stewart to Chi, and JJJ to Utah
Maybe it doesn't work-thanks for pointing it out

I would pass on Ivey and what is likely a late FRP for Lauri.

Re: Det goes all in, w/ Utah, Chi, Miami
The Bulls do it, mainly because in that fantasy world they are able to trade Vucevic
Billy would start Huerter at the 2, with JJJ behind him and Ayo in reserve, even if I see them starting Patrick at the 3 with Okoro coming off the bench, few other do, The bench might be deep as they have to get at least 2 players back for Vuc, but who knows who they are and Carter and Terry should be bought out

Meh. I think the Bulls could do better than some scrub and a poor 1st for Coby White.

I mean, for Miami... Maybe? It's looking more and more like Terry's going to get voided. That cap space could be more valuable than Harris...

Ivey needs to pull a worthwhile pick from another team for this to be viable for Utah, we don't want him.

Regardless of anything else, this ends the discussion. Ainge has set a higher price, and he does not waver.

Danny Ainge isn't making the decisions anymore. It was clear this offseason.

Re: Det goes all in, w/ Utah, Chi, Miami
Trading multiple unprotected first rounders for highly paid players. Not only do we lose Harris and Ivey but Thompson and/or Duren gone when we don’t have room to sign them. This deal also doesn’t push them to legit contender status. Easy pass when the overall cost/impact of the roster is worse in both short and long term.
