it isn't a trade, but i think that it is the better option avaliable for each other
Milwaukee at the moment hasn't a real playmaker that can serve Giannis and Turner (Cole Anthony is primarly a scorer, and K.Porter Jr is not a warranty)
Milwaukee is the only team with high ambition and a free spot in PG. RW can have an important role and more than 20-24 minutes
what do you think about?
which is the best solution for Milwaukee and which for RW?

Re: Russell Westbrook to Milwaukee Bucks
While it would be a solid spot for Russ, reports have had him being closer to the west coast as mattering a lot.

I think Russ and Giannis would be a horrible fit together. If the goal is to have someone to play Giannis' offensive role when he goes to the bench it makes a bit more sense.

Westbrook to the bucks as a 6th man
To the kings to give them quantity at pg
Beyond that, no idea
He finally joins the Jazz on his 3rd or 4th attempt <shrug>

Makes a lot of sense basketball wise. But Russ said he wants to be close to his family in LA. I think that’s why he hasn’t been signed yet.

Re: Russell Westbrook to Milwaukee Bucks
I know Russ isnt Russ anymore.. but Sac has to believe they have a trade done if they are looking at bringing him in right? Like Monk finally out for a PT and then signing Russ?
Just seems like they have enough guard depth as is.. and he would want to end up somewhere with a bigger role or just stay in Denver and at least compete..
But I think Mil should want any talent they can get. Don’t love Giannis/Russ together, but think you go into it knowing Russ’ main job is the 10-14mpg Giannis isn’t in and anything else in a bonus..
A random question one off.. Presti trading Joe/Dieng/first for PJ (or some other talented four to come off bench) and then bringing Russ back to compete with Topic..

Yeah, I see them as a bad fit. Honestly, Russ probably fits poorly with every starting unit in the league, because you’d rather have a better, more under control player have the ball. He should exclusively be a bench spark plug when stars sit out.

I can kind of see it for Sacramento only because I am not convinced Schroder is better. If they can move DeRozan I think it is a reasonable fit with Westbrook - Lavine - Clifford(?) - Murray - Sabonis

Schroeder doesn't have as much potential upside, but he is more reliable and consistent. Russ can win you games and he can lose you games. He and Russ could be a decent fit together.

Re: Russell Westbrook to Milwaukee Bucks
Bucks have Kevin Porter Jr and Ryan Rollins, I think the team might have been interested in Russ but went with much younger Cole Anthony.
I love Russ the personality but idk about him being a good fit with Giannis and Doc Rivers.
