Trae for Ja

I don’t think a direct swap really works. I do think Ja has more value than Trae due to contract status. Theres enough teams with cap space that I wouldn’t want him to touch free agency if I were Atlanta. Utah, Brooklyn, Washington.. at least one of them is going to be happy to steal Trae and tell their fans their youth is ready to go. But I also wouldn’t want to give Trae a full max if I were Atlanta..

Sacramento getting one of these guards is more interesting to me than a direct swap.. A two team deal is more realistic, but you could do.. Trae to Mem, Ja to Sac, Demar and Monk to Atlanta and figure out the value owed. Monk/Demar help the kids survive the pick debt?

And I still really like Trae for Jrue/Scoot/pick(s)… but you could add Memphis into that if you wanted, some Ja/Jailblazer puns available..
