Chi goes for it-in the weak East this team could be top 5
BRK keeps rebuilding, and clears a TON of future $.
Chi sends Vuc/PWill/JCarter/DTerry plus their 2026 1st (unprotected) to BRK and Ayo to Dallas along with the Port pick
Chi gets MPJr and Claxon
Dallas sends Marshall and the 2029 Laker 1st to BRK
Dallas gets Ayo and Port 1st
BRK sends MPJr/Claxon to Chi
BRK gets Naj Marshall, Vuc, PWill, JCarter (buyout), DTerry plus the Bulls 2026 unprotected 1st and the Laker 2029 1st
Dallas gets a better fit on their roster with Ayo over Marshall, plus they save $ this year ($2 million in salary plus tax) and Ayo is expiring to swap the Laker pick for the Port pick
BRK is in full asset-collection mode, adding 2 unprotected 1sts plus they save future $. Of course, taking PWill hurts, but maybe he can rehab there
Chi goes for the 2nd round with
Giddey/Jones
Okoro/CWhite (White would start, but I'd prefer he's a heavy minute 6th man)
Matas/Huerter
MPJr/JSmith
Claxon/Collins
deep bench of JCarter/Phillips

Re: BRK-Chi w/ Dallas
Dallas isn't doing that. I don't think Ayo returns Marshall let alone that pick swap.

Re: BRK-Chi w/ Dallas
I think Ayo and Naji is a pretty even stand alone trade.. I kind of like a Carter+Saric/Najo/Ayo based three way with whoever you feel owes adding seconds. Chicago can trust in Carter developing to fit with Giddey or Coby..
The pick swap is really bad for Dallas with that protection. Rather have the upside of a Luka injury. Or the possibility of him opting out and leaving (Neither are likely, but both are possible..)

2 unprotected 1sts for Claxton (decent starting C) and MPJ (overpaid starting SF, negative value) is insane. I cant believe BRK would turn this down

Re: BRK-Chi w/ Dallas
Brooklyn should do it without Dallas involvement,.
Clearing 30+ million in cap, grtting the Portland pick and a pick projected late lottery (early teens if Chicago really excels) is good value without Dallas throwing in extra value for reason.

BK would need more to blow up their franchise like this.
