CHA/SAC

Post#1 » by HornetJail » Fri Aug 14, 2026 9:59 pm

just get used to these bums getting packaged together in all my deals, there will be a lot till they're gone

Early season trade if the Hornets like what they see from Christian Anderson and think he's ready for backup PG minutes.

CHA sends
Grayson Allen 18M+19M PO
Dennis Schroeder 15M+15M (4.35M guarantee)
3 2028 2nds from: Houston, better of CHA/LAC, or Orlando

SAC sends
DeAndre Hunter 25M

Charlotte gets a 3&D forward on an expiring deal
Sac eats some 2027-28 money for some 2nds. maybe can flip Allen for something positive at the deadline, not sure
investigate Adam Silver

Yep we traded Schroder and attached Ellis so we could get longer. Not sure why we would undue this trade.

I don’t get the point - when Sac needs MORE size and length at the wing - of why we would trade for two small guards, a bunch more money that we cannot even take on and crappy seconds.

This doesn’t even make any kind of sense.

Should be locked.

Financially doesn't work for Sac. From a fit standpoint, I don't see it either.

Guards - Acuff, Sharp, Monk, Lavine, Nique
Fowards - Keegan, Hunter, Precious, Karaban
Centers - Sabonis, Maxime, Cardwell

I don't expect the team to be good, or even really competitive. But we have roster balance, and shedding tons of money end of the season with Hunter/LaVine.

But Sac owner is notoriously cheap, I could see him paying assets to dump salary way before going into the tax for a few 2nds.
