Nuggets-Hornets-Bucks-Grizz
Nuggets out: Cam,NNaji,Cavs 1st, Nuggets 2nd
Nuggets in: Green, Jerome, OMP, Wells
I would hate to trade Cam (and most of you are wrong, he will not cost a pick to trade if he gets moved. The Cavs just moved Struss and got a 2nd, Cam is a much better shooter, contract is not that much worse). But the Nuggets get shooting, a good backup PG, 2 wing defenders who are decent 3 pt shooters and may see a boost working with Joker. Really wish they wouldnt have signed Derozen. But this also gets them under the 2nd Apron. If not they can send out Holmes or Strawther to whatever team would value them.
Joker-Bagley-Brazile
Gordon-Bagley-S Jones
Wells-OMP-S Jones(not sure which one starts, but all are above ave D and good spot up 3 pt shooters)
Braun-Derozan-Green
Murray-Jerome
Hornets out:2nd rounder
Hornets in: Cam
Hornets add another elite shooter, on expiring for just a 2nd.
Bucks out: Green, Porter Jr.
Bucks in: NNaji and 2nd from Hornets
Bucks save 2 yrs on the Green contract and get a big for their surplus of wings/guards and pick up a 2nd.
Grizz out: Jerome, OMP and Wells
Grizz in: Porter Jr, Cavs 1st, Nuggets 2nd
Grizz consolidate and pick up a 1st and 2nd and see if Porter JR can be their lead guard.
Nuggets in: Green, Jerome, OMP, Wells

Bucks get essentially nothing while giving value to others, terrible trade. Take the Bucks out and make it work.

Doubt Grizz give up that much. Wells is a high character guy and projects to be a versatile bench wing unless he makes a leap.

Your constantly over valued the Bucks players and situation. Getting out of Green's $ is the win here. You have 20 wings and guards, Green gets minutes where? Same for Porter JR, he is expiring, Burries needs to start based on summer league-you benching Herro or Rollins or both??? You save 2 years on the contract and pick up a 2nd. And Nnaji just might get some minutes as a backup 4......
where the bucks f'd up is THEY should have gotten Watson in the S&T. They had the pieces and parts to get it done.

THe Grizz have 19 players on their roster(not counting the 2 way guys), they have to do some consolidation here. They give up a decent amount yes, but they get a 1st, 2nd and a shot on a lead guard that may or may not work out. They would have the minutes for Porter JR, where as the Bucks don't.
And same as Bucks, the Grizz should have done the Watson S&T, they had the exception and space to do a deal that was win win with the Nuggets.

Re: Nuggets-Hornets-Bucks-Grizz
This just really does not make much sense for the Bucks. They fumbled the Watson thing when they hardcapped themselves at the apron in the LeVert trade, but no need to compound that with trading two good players for a bad player just to save negligible salary.

I don't think we have any interest in Porter. We turned the chapter from drama when we got off Ja, I don't think we we be willing to take a look at Porter so soon after. I think Porter might be a good cheap addition for a veteran team to take a chance on as a 6th man type but don't see us having any interest in him. And we have several easy cuts to make, I don't think we are sweating cutting the roster down to 15. Russell, Murray, AJ J, Gibson are more than likely the cuts and none will be missed.
Having said that, I think we might do the OP and might even just take in Nnaji to make it happen as well.
However, I really don't think the Hornets would take in all of CamJo into their TPE. Trading for a 23m backup wing and entering the tax to do it is not something I see that team doing. You would have have DFS, Royce, or Grant outgoing somehow to make it make sense for them imo. Have them add a few 2nds and Memphis can eat DFS with our TPE.

Stop whining, its a bad trade that no Bucks fan would agree too. I'd play all 3together idgaf, the Bucks depth at guard is a strength and I'd simply play smaller line ups versus downgrading talent for miniscule savings. This trade is pretty much contingent on raiding value from Bucks, even Charlotte is taking value by taking Cam Johnson for a SRP. The Bucks aren't running a charity, if Bucks are helping out & giving contributors to every other team and get nothing in return besides one of the worst players in the league that Denver locked up long term for some dumb reason and is now desperate to dump and a measly SRP. The Nuggets are the ones that need to pay to dump guys, not the Bucks who have really only have limited utility by clearing up minor cap space during this time period. Cap hell and the 2nd apron sucks but that's Denver's problem now not ours. Remove the Bucks and make this work or compensate them fairly, it sure af isnt Nnanji and SRP. How about instead of AJ Green and KPJ, its Gary Trent Jr and the Bucks take back Cam Johnson + Nnanji instead of the SRP + Nnanji's contract.

Removing Bucks as their players added no real value to the deal and they were stealing $ value. Green would be 3rd team and Grizz dont want porter jr. anyway.

You just have no idea how to value your players and situation. Getting a 2nd and another TPE for 2 guys who you shouldn't be playing is a steal and open up room for other moves. But the again your front office gave Trent jr the worst contact in the league.

Re: Nuggets-Hornets-Bucks-Grizz
I don't think Charlotte's cutting its huge TPE in half for an expiring 30yo Cam Johnson
wouldn't protest too much if we did this, but feel like his role is already basically being taken by Royce O'Neale at less than half the salary

investigate Adam Silver

Grizz decline that deal. Replace Wells with either Pippen/Hendricks/Murray then I could see it happening.

Re: Nuggets-Hornets-Bucks-Grizz
If the Hornets did this, they'd need to send some outgoing players as they are already above the roster limit as it stands.
