Post#1 » by Sebzor » Tue Jan 1, 2008 9:24 pm

NYK-CHI
E. Curry/M. Rose/M. Collins -for: B. Wallace/C. Duhon

NYK get their defensive C next to PF zach
CHI get their lowpost scorer (at C, so that TT & Noah don't lose more playing time)

SEA-CHI
L. Ridnour/D. Wilkins -for: J. Smith/B. Gordon/V. Khryapa/future 2nd

Line-Up
PG: K. Hinrich/L. Ridnour/J. Curry
SG: T. Sefolosha/D. Wilkins/M. Collins/A. Griffin
SF: L. Deng/A. Nocioni/D. Nichols
PF: T. Thomas/J. Noah/M. Rose
C: E. Curry/A. Gray

CHI upgrade seriously at PG (with ridnour) & lowpost-scoring (with curry)

The second deal is awful for the Bulls. It's especially amusing that you have them giving up a pick.

I'm not a fan of bringing Curry back to the Bulls because he is so damn fat now.

i could actually see seattle sending a second to chicago instead. they get to take a look at gordon and dont torpedo their cap space in 09.

Chi tends to slightly overrate Gordon (while they shop him) but everyone underrates Ridenour+ Wilkins,so the perception is even worse than the reality...and the reality is still that it's not enough for Chi to do the Seattle part.

The NYK part? Wallace and Curry are as opposite as they come. Is Curry welcome in Chi? Does NYK take on ANOTHER ageing, high $ vet?

Wallace WOULD offset the Zach factor,as Zach is a problem on D if alongside Curry. Chi has Thomas-Noah,who whilee a bit raw,at least have apptitude for D. Rose is ballast, somewhat offsets the savings of losing Ben's contact, but at least it's shorter and Malik is a hustle guy who might have some use. Collins can be decent if he's ever given regular minutes. As a once a week guy...he's nothing.....gets rusty between appearances.
CENSORED... No comment.
