Not sure the Raptors do this deal, and no one will trade for Ford unless he's healthy.

QFT. And this makes our shooting problems worse.

Agreed...no one trades for a player in Ford's condition (at least wait until he gets back and plays). But either way, the Raps certainly aren't going to take on Hughes' clunker contract just to turn Ford into Gibson.

Cleveland is going to have to work a lot harder than this to move Hughes.

If Ford doesn't come back and retires at least insurance covers him. Hughes easily has the worst contract in the league. I would rather take contracts like Brian Cardinal or Mark Blount.

He can't shoot for his life, is a decent defender, but gets paid like an all-star. I question even if Hughes is starter worthy.

Raps would never consider this deal.

i know Ford is at risk for a serious injury but that doesn't mean that the Raps will take a huge contract for it.... especially for a player like Hughes.

Hughes kills it with his chronic injuries.

Ford is shooting 48% from the field this year.

Ford is probably the most untradable player in the league right now. If he were to retire then he would come completely off of the books for the Raptors 1 year from when his injury occured. If he were to be traded and then retired then his new team would never get any cap relief.

Neither team makes this trade in my mind. Toronto wants nothing to do with Hughes and with the condition Ford is in right now no team would be looking to trade for him.

this is a steal for the Cavs. If Ford comes back which he will the Cavs would have a great young PG to pair with LeBron and keep him in Cleveland.

Toronto would never consider this deal. Hughes has the worst contract in the league next to 80% of the Knicks

Hughes = salary cap hell for Toronto`
