the Heat get some much needed shooting and the lakers bolster the front line (mihm is out again) and save a year on the contracts (although the $ is the same)

No, the Heat are not taking on contracts that run longer than Shaq's unless they're someone worth building around.

Blount's contract is the right number of years. Vlad Rad's isn't. Plus, Blount's actually playing well in his first start of the year tonight.

He hasn't started at all. And he finally started scoring. Sure he has his faults, but he played 20 times better tonight than in any other game this year.
