An oldie but a goodie:
I read the MIL boards about your disdain for the unproductive Gadzuric, Simmons and Villanueva. MIN, on the other hand, doesn't care about production, so they might make a decent trading pair, if MIL can offer either cap space or future considerations.
What would you think of this
MIL GETS: Ryan Gomes, Marko Jaric
MIN GETS: Gadzuric, lottery-protected first.
The way I see it, Jaric > Gadzuric, and Ryan Gomes = late first.
WHY FOR MIL: This trade does more than just removing the unnecessary and unusable Gadzuric 4-year deal from the team. It amps up production by a lot. Jaric's deal is the same length, but he can provide size and perimeter defense, and Gomes is a young vet who's started over 100 games. His hard work, strength and attitude allow him to work inside and outside.
MIL has four really good players, and Yi and Bogut are just going to get better by the end of the season. It seems to me that they could do some damage in the East if they could just add some players that compliment them. I could see these guys doing that.
WHY FOR MIN: MIN's guys are far more productive, but they are rebuilding, so they don't need it. Gadzuric may get some minutes next to Al Jefferson, and while he's a four-year deal, he's slightly cheaper than Jaric. A lottery-protected first provides some incentive.
Incidently, Villaneuva really doesn't fit here, but we could work something out for him too. I don't see a way for MIN to take Simmons though.

What about this. It allows Memphis to move Pau since Villanueva moves in at PF and it allows the Bucks to move Redd since Miller fills that role.
Successful Trade Scenario
Congratulations on a successful trade.
Due to Milwaukee and Memphis being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Milwaukee and Memphis had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

I wouldn't do that if I were the Knicks. I am not too found of Williams. I would prefer to use those trade chips on someone else.

This only makes sense to me if Bobby Simmons can be moved elsewhere. The last thing the Bucks want to do is pay Simmons and Redd and Jaric a kajillion dollars combined to man two positions.
Since I doubt the Bucks will be able to move Simmons, they won't take on Jaric.

Its no better to pay Gadzuric that same kajillian dollars to ride the bench at center? At least Jaric's going to get into games somewhere. I'd personally play him over Charlie Bell as a back-up one alongside the no-defense Redd. Supposedly Gadz has quit on the team (which might be why he's averaging only ten minutes a game), and amid the DNP's, he's only averaged more than 8 mpg twice since December 1. Bogut's development isn't going to help Gadzuric any either.
I agree all deals look better if Simmons gets moved. But its better to have playable over-priced guys than less play-able over-priced guys, if you're already spending the money.
