SUPER UNREALISTIC! NY ORL MIA WASH MN

Post#1 » by shagadelic45 » Wed Jan 9, 2008 11:32 pm

NY TRADES: Jerome James, Mardy Collins, Jared Jeffries, Quentin Richardson, Malik Rose, Wilson Chandler, Zach Randolph, Renaldo Balkman, Jamal Crawford, Nate Robinson, Stephon Marbury, Eddie Curry ($82 million)

NY RECEIVES: Pat Garrity, Carlos Arroyo, Alonzo Mourning, Dorell Wright, Jason Williams, Ricky Davis, Antawn Jamison, Mason, McGuire, Theo Ratliff, Marko Jaric, Greg Buckner, Antoine Walker, JJ Reddick ($78 million)

The Knicks turn over most of the roster and their #1 for an instant rebuild. 10 players and $64 million in expirings, Parker, Walker and Buckner expire next, and only Jaric and Lee under contract beyond that.

PG:Williams-Mason
SG:Jaric-Buckner-Jones-Wright
SF:Walker-Davis-Garrity-McGuire
PF:Jamison-Lee
C:Ratliff-Morris-Mourning

ORL TRADES: Keyon Dooling, Pat Garrity, Carlos Arroyo, James Augustine, JJ Reddick ($14 million)

ORL RECEIVES: Anotnio Daniels, Jamal Crawford, Earl Barron, Augustine (#16 million)
The magic pick up 2 huge pieces at pg and sg for a run at the east.

PG:Nelson-Daniels
SG:Crawford-Bogans
SF:Turkoglu-Evans
PF:Lewis-Cook-Battie-Augustine
C:Howard-Foyle-Barron-Gortat

MIA TRADES: Alonzo Mourning, Dorell Wright, Jason Williams, Ricky Davis, Earl Barron, Smush Parker ($24 million)

MIA RECIEVES: Quentin Richardson, Renaldo Balkman, Wilson Chandler, Nate Robinson, Stephon Marbury, MardyCollins ($30 million)

The desperate Heat try anthing to get back into contention. None of the deals they take are longer than Shaq's and they upgrade at pg and sf.

PG:Marbury-Robinson-Quinn
SG:Wade-Cook-COllins
SF:Richardson-Balkman-Jackson
PF:Haslem-Johnson-Chandler
C:Shaq-Blount-Anthony

WASH TRADES: Antonio Daniels, Antawn Jamison, Mason, McGuire ($24 million)

WASH RECEIVES: Zach Randolph, Jared Jeffries, Kenyon Dooling, Smush Parker, 2008 unprotected #1 (NY) ($26 million)

The Wizards make the hardest deal. They take on some salary bug get a prtential #1 pick in return. Arenas is a great player, but they've actually played better without him this year. They get their first legit low post threat and open things up for the rest.

PG:Arenas-Dooling-Parker
SG:Stevenson-Young
SF:Butler-Blatche
PF:Randolph-Jeffries-Thomas
C:Haywood-Songalia-Pecherov

MN TRADES: Theo Ratliff, Marko Jaric, Greg Buckner, Antoine Walker ($30 million)

MN RECEIVES: Malik Rose, Jerome James, Eddie Curry ($22 million)

The Wolves save an instant $8 million (or more as they are near lux tax) and get a center of the future in Curry. He and Jefferson could make a good pair down low for years. They dump Jaric, Waker and Buckner's deals for 1 year of Rose and 2 of James (buyout candidate). Not counting Curry, that's an additional $4+ million savings over the next 4 years.

PG:Foye-Telfair
SG:McCants-Green
SF:Brewer-Gomes
PF:Jefferson-Smith-Rose-Richard
C:Curry-Doleac-Madsen-James

No from MIN

Eddy Curry has a big, uninsured contract for his heart problem, so you won't be able to convince an owner to take him because of finances. 4 years at $40 mil for a 1 year Ratliff? Personally, I don't think he's the defensive guy that fits with Al, but others may disagree. Walker and Buckner's deals are the same length as Malik, and they are both more productive than 2 PT, 2 RB Malik Rose. A useful Jaric's 4 year deal is worth more than a useless Jerome James 3 year deal. The deal adds $10 mil to the Wolves payroll.

No way in hell Miami takes both Steph and Q, especially considering that they don't even dump Blount. Terrible.

Edit: We also get killed in the tax this year.

The Wizards say no. I don't care if we potentially get a number 1 pick - Zach Randolph is a cancer. Jared Jeffries and Smush Parker? Are you trying to make me puke?

And btw the Wizards have NOT played better without Arenas. Who told you that lied to you.

Does anyone else find it funny that someone who has yet to come up with a single realistic trade in his entire time as a member of this site has actually taken the time to call his newest trade super unrealistic? I am also sure I am the only one who finds it funny that people who have been on this site for a while continue to subject themselves to trying to understand the ideas that this warped and bored mind has come up with as if it was even remotely worthwhile.

Well, the Knicks benefit... that's about it, though.

Hey shaq, I'll make you a mod if you promise to never post any trades involving more than 2 teams and 6 players.

It really is amazing. Out of all those guys, the only players with positive trade value are Chandler and Balkman; and they're just mildly interesting filler. Everybody else is toxic waste.

This is a big NO from Washington.
