Magic-Bucks trade

Post#1 » by youngcrev » Fri Jan 11, 2008 8:12 pm

Charlie Villanueva, Royal Ivey and Dan Gadzuric
for
J.J. Redick, Keyon Dooling, Pat Garrity and a 1st Round Pick

The Magic beef up their front court. Charlie V could be a very nice fit next to D12 with his versatility on offense, and Gadz gives them some size and hustle off the bench.

The Bucks get some cap relief, a young shooter in JJ, and a 1st round pick in return for CV.

Milwaukee passes, if your best part of the trade is a SG, why is Milwaukee the team you call. Plus, you trade two bigs and they take back Garrity (who doesnt play) and that first round pick is gonna be 16-22

do the Bucks really need another shooter? maybe if they are looking to deal Redd, but I think the Bucks can do better if they just deal CV without attaching Gadzuric's albatross contract.

The best part of the trade for the Bucks is dumping Gadz longterm contract.
