Bibby's injuries have been freak injuries...whereas JO's injuries are the kind that linger and affect one's overall play...before last season Bibby I believe only had one other injury that caused him to miss significant time.

JO is CHRONICALLY injured contrast to Bibby's nearly iron man status.... Bibby has a chance to regain and progress into his prime unlike JO...(Maybe JO could be hellva better if he stop shooting Js) I like JO but he needs to prove himself that he was the dominant player he was...

Yeah, Bibby has had two horrible seasons in terms of missing games, this would be his 3rd. None are consecutive though.

However, Bibby's actually older than JO. Let's keep that in mind as well.

Umm, he had only ONE bad season last year which he played ALL 82 games...Before that, that was his career year...

It doesnt really matter if Bibby is older considering that JO came as a high schooler.... It's not about the age, its the mileage...

Bibby (thanks to his "iron man" status) has played 24,612 minutes in his career compared to only 20,251 minutes for Oneal. So if we are talking mileage, Bibby has more "wear and tear" (by almost 20% compared to JO).

And JO coming in as a high schooler is countered by the fact that he played relatively little in his 4 years in Portland.

So before we try to portray JO as some worn down player while Bibby still in his prime, these little tidbits should be considered.

A 1st round pick to Sacramento? That 1st rounder should be going to NY for taking Tinsley's salary off of the Pacers hands. Come to think of it, both Indy and Sacramento can send their 1st rounders to NY (top 10 protected this year, unprotected next year) for taking Tinsley and facilitating this trade.

If Isiah Thomas is looking to bring one of his "boys" into the fold, he can just wait until Damon Stoudamire (his own "draft baby") is bought out and sign him to a vet minimum without having to take on Tinsley's awful contract.

Tinsley was having a great year, and then all of a sudden last week he took all of our shots in OT and lost the game for us. That pissed off many Pacer's fans. He was having a great year, and his contract looked like a steal for the amount of production he gave us. The problem is the Pacers don't have a guy who wants to shoot the winning shot, so he takes it. He is NOT the guy you want taking the final shot, but somebody has to shoot it. He is under contract through 10/11, and gets an average of less than $7 million per. That isn't bad at all given his production this year, especially compared to many other players in the NBA. So as long as you have some guys who can score and take the final shot, Tinsley can be a guy that can average 15 points, 10 assists, and grab quite a few boards each night.
