Successful Trade Scenario
Congratulations on a successful trade.
Due to Chicago and L.A. Lakers being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Chicago and L.A. Lakers had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

that starting lineup sucks compared to what the lakers have when healthy. odom at sf failed miserably earlier in the season. he's staying at pf. wallace at pf next to bynum would be horrible since wallace has no offensive game to speak of. wallace's diminishing rebounding/shot blocking also loses value next to bynum who is superior in those skills.

I sort of wonder if the Lakers would be inclined to do something like this if they struggle significantly with Bynum out.
