Why: Lose a lot of talent. But get two expiring contracts and Rose will expire next season.

David Harrison

Why: They don't play Rose. And Isiah loves Tinsley, and JT is doing his best season os his career. David Harrison have some talent too and defends well. They take some risk at Tinsley and Harrison's attitudes, but they give up just Malike Rose.

for

Troy Murphy
Andre Owens

Why: They get a bad contract, but Magic really needs more size, a big man. I think Murphy would do very wel in Magic's system, he'd hit a lot of 3 pointers. Andre Owens is just for Magic has more depth ar PG, Owns defends well, and is not a bad shooter, too.

I don't really like it from the Pacers perspective. I'm down to move Murphy in the right deal. But I think he is very underrated. Just because he gets payed to much doesn't make him worthless. He has been contributing very well lately and has started to fit into our new offense. I'd gladly move him in the right deal. But to lose Tinsley and Harrison with him just to get Arroyo seems kinda pointless to me. All the money we would save wouldn't make a huge impact considering that Indy isn't exactly a high market team. We downgrade our starting PG, and lose 3 players in depth. If Rose and Garrity played a position of need, I'd probably accept. But we have enough PF's as it is.

The Magic would need a reason to take on Murphy's contract...you only gave a reason why we need a player like Murphy.

We would need either a pick or some one else more useful.
