Homerism? Im a Bull fan. Wallace's contract is such a negative, you have to lose a talent deal.

Oh my, then it's much worse than I thought...

Who the eff cares??? Why would you give up so much talent just to get rid of a three year contract?

When Tyrus Thomas shows me why he is a starting 4 in the league, I agree. But if Toronto is willing to take on some bad deal for Thomas and the Bulls get out of the Wallace deal, its a good enough deal for me.

Maybe something like:

Anthony Parker
Rights to Ukic
2008 1st unprotected
Future picks
Cash

for

Tyrus

Too little? Too much? I honestly have no idea how much value he has at this point.

TOR turn two bench warmers into TT?

FAT CHANCE.

(Im aware Humpries is decent, but compared to Thomas? hes merely a filler.)

I agree that it is a horrible offer for the Bulls, but turning two bench warmers into TT?

TT has only started 11 games this season (and they were early on) and is averaging only 16mpg.

Careful who you call a bench warmer!!

this is on the right track, but Chicago "should" throw in a player like Chris Duhon and a 2nd Round pick while we take out our "future" picks and make our 2008 pick lottery protected

I don't think you have to go quite that far zong, though I'm not sure 3 picks are necessary (as I read V's proposal).

What about Thomas and Duhon for Parker, Humphries, Dixon (exp), and first round picks in 08 and 10?

Absolutely nothing on this thread is of any functional use to the Bulls. Chicago and Tyrus' problem is that they have a log jam of players at the 3 and 4 spots. Trading Tyrus for even more players is asinine.

Please stop trying to get 21 year old lottery picks for garbage.

This is getting up there in regards to all time worst trade threads.

Why? What would go through your mind to think that Chicago would do this?

Humphries would not play much. Parker just fights with Sefolosha and Gordon for PT. Duhon's contract is a bigger expiring than Dixon and the two picks are likely late teens early twenties.

Chicago takes on salary and likely has to dump Deng or Gordon as a result of it.

No its not. Its out in left field.

Chicago has too many players and none of them are elite. Trading one 21 year old for a bunch more guys is insane.

BBallFreak wrote:Not for that crap they don't. Think Bargnani's value, and try and come up with something more reasonable...

Toronto wouldn't do it. Bargnani is the best talent in last years draft watch footage of Bryan Colangelo talking. He said "Brendan Roy is the best NBA ready body/talent but overall longterm Bargnani is the better player" if he wanted Tyrus he would have took him when we had the #1 overall pick.

As far as the orignal trade noway in hell would the Bulls do that deal since Humphries wouldn't give them anything they don't have now with regards to their bigman rotation.

As for The Letter V's trade I wouldn't do it from a Toronto standpoint as Parker is a great defender in instermental to Toronto's defense. He plays the best players and guards them pretty well. I mean we would have a terrible SG rotation of Delfino and Dixon after something I am not happy with. Adding picks is overkill Minny gave up 7 players and 2 firsts for Garnett and Tyrus isn't on Garnett's level nor Al Jefferson's.

xbl_sucks,

I'm not saying Tyrus for Bargs is fair, I'm saying that's far closer to his value than the original trade.

Think about it like this... Would you trade Bargs to Detroit for Walter Hermann and Flip Murray? No? Because that is essentially the deal being offered to Chicago...

Yeah, I was hoping the picks would be enough (I knew that Humphries wouldn't be the big draw, though I didn't realise Duhon was expiring too), but re-evaluating the deal now, I can see it isn't. Nevermind.

This is unlikely, but IMO this is a fair deal:

Andrea Bargnani
Jorge Garbajosa
Future 2nd Rounder
for
Chris Duhon
Tyrus Thomas
Adrian Griffin

I rather have Noah (as a Raps fan) then T Thomas really... hell, I would do a Bargnani for Noah + filler. Works for both teams
