while im not vehemently against acquiring green (or a similar type player like jr smith), there is not need to do this deal. green will be an UFA next year, so the spurs could just sign him outright. and his impact this year would be negligible, thanks to the rotation of bowen/finley/manu/barry, so i dont see the need to swing this deal. just keep udoka and the pick/prospects, and sign green in the offseason.
