Portland outgoing- Aldridge, Jack, 1st, Raef

incoming- Amare

Phoenix outgoing- Amare

incoming- Brand, Jack, portland 1st

Clippers outgoing- Brand

incoming- Aldridge, Raef

Then a follow up trade of Banks, Pike and the portland 1st to the clips for Cassell. Obviously the trade would have to wait until around the trade deadline so that Brand could prove that he's healthy. If he's not healthy then it's a pointless trade for the suns.

Why does Portland want Amare? They hate characters like Amare. And then we would never get to see Oden with Aldridge.

Amare does not have character issues. The reason that the blazers do this trade is because it gives them an upgrade over Aldridge and clears roster space for Rudy Fernandez next year.

The only reason that PHX would want Brand is to play NEXT to Amare and not IN PLACE OF him.

yeah the trade makes no real sense for the suns. I like Brand alot but I wouldn't trade Amare for him. Portland pick would be at the end of the 1st round, and why do they need Jack when they have Nash and Barbosa?
