Just an idea. This is predicated on Ford coming back and playing at 100%.

The Bulls wouldn't do this. And I don't want to give up on Ford nor Bargnani at this point, both of them are still critical to our future.

Value wise, that's really good for Chicago.

However, it really doesn't fill Bulls needs.

BULLS
G- Ford / Hinrich
G- Sefolosha / Gordon
F- Nocioni / Graham
F- Bargnani / Thomas
C- Wallace / Noah / Gray

I really don't like that team in that you have most of your talent concentrated into 3 undersized guards (Ford, Gordon and Hinrich) and you have 4 projects to develop (Thomas, Bargnani, Noah, Sefolosha).

While Chicago has to make moves with its roster to get the current version to work, this trade would necessitate a few follow ups as well.

I was thinking, what about a deal centered around Deng + Tyrus Thomas for Boozer?

Utah shouldn't touch that deal.

It would be part of a bigger deal no doubt, but I'm just gauging value.
