Would the Nets seriously consider this? I mean, it's pretty bad for them IMO. They trade away the best player in the deal (Jefferson) and take back two pretty large contracts in Wallace and Nocioni. Wallace may still be a lot better than Collins, but he's also a lot more expensive while his contract also runs one year longer.

ICLO, this is a great deal for the Bulls. Although we'd have to play Jefferson quite a bit of minutes out of position (at the 2) it could really pay off. It saves us some money and really balances out the roster nicely, making plenty of minutes available for the young guys in the front court. Cliff Levingston envisions a rotation as such:
1. Hinrich, Gordon, Duhon
2. Jefferson, Gordon, Wright
3. Deng, Jefferson, Wright
4. Smith, Thomas, Noah
5. Noah, Gray, Collins
1. Hinrich, Gordon, Duhon
