I think this works all around. PDX needs to make a big splash. OKC gets a decent return and PHI with CP3 and CJ along with Joel is almost for sure the best trio in the East, and a much more functional trio in todays game.

Zach would be huge for PHI as well IMO. He could eat all the backup PF and C minutes for them.

This is one of the better balanced star player trades I've seen. Well done.

OKC may get more for CP3. I'm unsure. But this is fairly reasonable. I think the only major problems people might have with this are conceptual, not value, though I think Portland may get off a little light here.

I'm kinda diggin this for Portland and who they could then sign with the MLE and their $7M TPE, etc. Anybody know what Davis Bertans will most likely sign for next season? I see he's not made more than $7M per season so far. Will he jump up or is the MLE sufficient? I would make a play for him, Jaw Crowder, or Justin Holiday with the MLE for the Blazers.

Pretty sure Bertans will get more than MLE, but it's hard to say. Not many shooters as lights out as he is.

Depending on where the cap ends up and who opts out we could end up with only a handful of teams with more cap space than the room MLE. He will also be competing with Joe Harris for the shooters money.

I think from a talent perspective, both PHI and POR make out quite well, the talent perspective doesn't really matter for OKC.

From a value perspective, I think OKC and POR make out quite well. Philly maybe loses a bit on value? It's hard to tell although I think their roster afterwards is significantly more balanced and they will win more games. I guess the question is if they were to trade Simmons, is there another trade that could balance their roster better and where they can eek out a bit more value? Or they can try to squeeze a bit more value out of Portland.

Yeah, that was kind of my thinking, as well.
