Who ahead would want to trade quality for quantity? Any ideas?
I'd think BOS, PHO and MIN are happy with their warchest. NOP, maybe? IND?

Detroit fans have been okay with the idea of 18 and dumping Meeks iirc.
I think the more interesting idea would be something with Memphis dumping VC while getting back a 3 point shooter like Hollis -- 17 and VC for 24, 26, and Hollis?
And just for the sake of clarity on the rumor, Colangelo has literally said everything possible is an option at one time or another. He's almost the perfect anti Hinkie at this point, instead of saying nothing so there is nothing of content that can be taken advantage of, Colangelo is trying hard to say everything so there is nothing of content to be taken advantage of.

I think this would be a prerequisite to any Love trade. Otherwise you end up in a situation where we trade Love for a guy like Melo, it doesn't work out, and LBJ leaves in the Summer of 2017.

This latest round of Middleton to Boston rumors is getting me unnecessarily excited, because there is no chance it would happen.
I'd link the tweets to the Middleton stuff, but it is all over Twitter.
I probably would do #3/Bradley for Middleton......Take Hield at 3 and then Poeltl/Davis at 10

Toronto, but 24 and 26 is a light offer for 9

Really? Everything I've heard from Ujiri sounds like he's not sure he wants *any* picks this year, unless he can move up and get "that guy". I can't imagine he wants to move down for *more* picks.
Memphis seems like a good call.

I'm not sure if we will add more than one rookie next year, but there'd no be harm in having stashes instead of 1

I suspect a player is involved if he is trying to get to 8. It may sound like blasphemy to many, but maybe Noel, 24, 26 for 8?

I would hope Boston would be all over that with 16,23,31,ect.....even adding possibly a future pick from Memphis or something if Poeltl or Brown was still available.

Danny Ainge already has too many picks to roster them all. Breaking them down even further is a bad idea.
EDIT: Just realized you're talking about offering that for 9. NVM.

Picks #24 and #26 isn't going to return #9, I'd say that gets something in the #18-20 range.

Not so much a rumour as an update:
[tweet]https://twitter.com/IanBegley/status/745319433581764608[/tweet]
No big surprises here either. Even if they take only 1-year deals it should still be for more money than they'd have made in their one year of opting in.

3/Bradley/17 Nets swap.
And I still don't think I'd do it, but that'd be the minimum for me personally.
Yeah, this will most likely open a big discussion and I apologize if this isn't the place for it but I think Middleton gets a little overrated on these boards. The upgrade from Bradley to Middleton is not worth a number 3 pick and another top five pick in a even better draft next season. I understand Bucks fans love Middleton but he's being given the same value as a guy like Butler here, maybe even more. Both players are great defenders that general are assisted on most baskets on offense, Bradley is also cheaper the next couple of years, both are very good role players. Yes I understand it would take a lot to trade Middleton, but C's fan also have to defend their players when they don't believe they're getting the fair end of the discussion.

Re: Random Rumor Thread: Post em here
There are lots of reports (can't link right now, but I'm sure some one can) suggesting Spurs trying to move up. I really feel like we're going to see another George Hill for Kawhi Leonard type of deal from the Spurs this draft, but can't quite seem to find a sensible option for them and the other team involved.
Disclaimer: Trades I post shouldn't make you stressed or angry if you disagree. If you say it's unproductive because it won't happen and we're only allowed to post deals that actually happen, it takes away 99% of trades here and the fun out of the board.

#3, Bradley and the Nets swap is an overpay, but Middleton is really, really good. He's worth at least #3 and maybe #3 and Bradley.
