I still am thinking the Hawks should trade for Lavine 1st option, sign Derozan 2nd option, or attempt to trade for Beal 3rd.
December of 2019 “Trae Young Involved in 'Emotional' Locker Room Scene After Hawks Loss. Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young is unsurprisingly getting tired of the team's struggles.”

Get Trae some HELP!!!!

I'll gladly pass on 2 of those 3 options for sureand probably all 3 as Lavine nor Beal have any defense and thats what our team struggles with the most. You put either of them next to Trae and you might as well put a wide open lane to the basket everytime down the court. True they can score well on offense but thats not doing us any good if we can't stop them on the other end.

If Trae was a good defender at PG then i would be more open to having a guy like those 2 next to him but their all 3 in the very low tiers of defense at their position and imo you just can't have that starting next to each other. Derozan if im not mistaken has been a below avg defender as well most of his career. I think 2019 might have been one of his better defensive years and even it wasn't super great i don't think. But he probably atleast offers more than the other 2 do there which is right at nothing most the time.
