Probably Ayton. Maybe Nick Richards. That sort?

Okongwu trade? They also liked Ayton before, which seems bad.

Ayton will have a lot to prove next season, so he might do ok.

Probably not. Doesn't really offer much different from Isaiah Jackson, especially not when considering that Dallas would likely want something of value for him. Just not worth the cost?

If they can solve the centre position, there's a decent team there. Still probably outside of the Top 8 in the East, but something for Haliburton to return to in 2026/2027.

Kind of tough to solve the centre position and maintain that lineup. Somebody, or multiple, would have to go in any trade for said center for salary matching and value purposes. Indy doesn't have cap space, so the mechanism is difficult.

True, but it could be an opportunity for a buy-low big to thrive provided they don't tear their achilles!

Kind of like it as a Deandre Ayton landing spot if the Lakers fall through for him.

I wonder if they have something lined up?

They must do, otherwise it just seems way to risky with little guarantees

Yeah and also - What's Giannis supposed to say if asked - "F that guy, get him out of here!" lol

He's also tweeted out that he's excited about getting Myles and reportedly recruited Myles actively.

Feels like another "source off"?

Haynes is a known Dame guy. So factor that in.

Jackson over Bradley, for sure.

But you're not far off...

It feels like Milwaukee has to do Kuzma + their 2032 1st for someone like Denver did, right? Malik Monk would fit in that salary slot...or something like Ayo Dosunmu + Jalen Smith + 2026 POR 1st (1-14 protected thru 2028). They could then try to flip the Portland pick with Connaughton for a mid rotation player (Hauser? Dieng?).

The former would leave them with:
Porter/Monk/?
Monk/Trent/Green
Jackson/Prince
Giannis/T. Smith/Portis
Turner/Portis

The latter path would have them with:

Dosunmu/Porter
Trent/Green/Porter
Jackson/Hauser/Prince
Giannis/Portis
Turner/Smith/Giannis

Brogdon would be really nice for them in either case.

We've got plenty of "buy low" centers. None of them are near potential starting options?

Ayton was just let go because he wasn't willing to put in the work. Even if he put up 15/10 in Indy, it'd be an abject failure.

Milwaukee has the roomMLE and can send out Connaughton.. they can still build a decent roster if they want..

This is a bit cheaper than I expected Turner to sign for. He’s really good and a great fit with Giannis.

Sad for Indy fans. I think this move would make me pivot to a Pascal trade and a one year tank versus signing Ayton or such..

Respect to Milwaukee for having the balls to cut Dame.
Getting Turner into the mix feels like it gives this team some new life.

They still have Room MLE, Could flip Connaughton for a longer deal, Could attach first with Kuzma for a player or they have a 7.2 million TPE from the Middleton trade too. So a lot of options exist.

This their current depth chart as best I can recreate it:

Turner* /
Giannis / Portis* / Prince* / Smith
Kuzma / (Livingston)
Trent Jr.* / Harris* / (Jackson)
KPJ* / (Green)

* = recently signed (ineligible for trade)
() = unguaranteed

Definitely needs an upgrade at the 1 and/or the 3, ideally both.

Where are the Bucks going with Giannis, Turner, no Lillard, no picks for years, and eating 22 mill a year for 5 years.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

I mean where were they going with a 35 year old Dame on the sidelines? 36 next year coming off a major injury..

The team is better today than yesterday.

This'll cut some more salary and gets the Bucks closer to having enough cap to sign Turner

They will be picking likely in the teens this year.
