Without Spo holding him back, Whiteside is going to crush the Western Conference. Double-doubles every night. Will average 15 rebounds and 5 blocks. Threatens to be DPOY if he gets the minutes.

And, of course, triple double in Miami when he visits. Likely sends a block into Spo's lap.

The Blazers are going to take another step next season, they're going to be damn good. Lillard is going to destroy as the league's first $50 million dollar man.

Im no cap expert, but from what I understand Mavs either use their TPE as under the cap or over the cap. Cant say I really understand the details so might be wrong, but can it be that they just want to get signings done so they get over the cap, and use the TPE after that on like Dragic?

I'm still nervous about the Mavs. They've long been said to like him. Clippers on a one year deal also makes a lot of sense.

Probably will be a Laker tho, right?

What kind of a contract do you see DeMarcus getting?

at this point? Not much. 1 year for one of the exceptions I guess.

From the outside perspective , it seems more logical to assume Dallas got buyers remorse rather than Miami is orchestrated Dallas cap and roster without communications. Maybe Cuban thought he could spend the money better and couldn't . Nevertheless, Dal insisting that they want Jones and Heat saying Jones was not available seems to go past miscommunications. One party has to be lying. We likely never find out who.

Except since Olynyk and Jones still doesn't get Miami enough cap space for what they want to do, I'm more inclined to think Miami is also the team that messed up on this since they seem to be missing a lot of details here.

The fact that Olynk and Jones wasn't enough for Miami needs makes me think it is less likely that that trade originated from the Heat side.It is also possible Miami was trying short Butler on his Max and he said no.

Was hoping the Lakers were able to steal Frank for the room.

Using cap space and still keeping exceptions such as the TPE isn't possible.

Room exception and veteran minimum exceptions are what they have to work with if they use cap space.

Miami paying the Clippers to take on salary pretty much justifies Dallas position and makes the slander look even worse...

Thanks for the Noel update. I imagine PPat is getting traded with cash/2nds. But certainly could still be an Adams deal. With all this movement Presti has been pretty quiet. Maybe waiting for FA to shake out? Or maybe I'm too hopeful that the team will meaningfully change.

Then why would you be concerned about Dallas signing him if the risk is that low?

I'm afraid Kawhi goes back to Toronto and thus Danny Green as well and Cuban looks at $20M, no starting center on the roster and some embarrassing moments in free agency not getting any meetings at all and says 3/60 and tries to sell a big 3.

Dallas is the only potential team to make that dumb decision and I don't fully trust them to not.

Detroit would take Pat Patterson for Langston Galloway if that makes sense for OKC.
Weaver = Hinkie
VW to Portland

I mean, if even the Knicks wouldn’t go there...

they've always liked Cousins. And Cuban has been desperate to make a splash. Pretty sure Rick and Donnie will tell him this isn't the guy we want around Luka. Hopefully that holds. But I'm just nervous until the option is gone.
