That trade is looking better and better for the Grizzlies.

Not sure how it would be better when they already got the pick and would just be getting nothing for Iguodala rather than flipping him for something, unless you're referring to how it would make them more likely to be bad enough to keep their pick.
Anytime you get a first in a salary dump and the player immediately seeks a buyout, you're doing well. You just sold X in cap space and it only costs you Y. It's the one advantage rebuilding teams have.

unless Iggy buy out is for less than half his salary, you just paid a boat load of $ for what might be late-mid 1st or possible 2 2nders

It can't be 2nds. The pick becomes unprotected after two years so it'll convey as a 1st.

What I'm saying is Iguodala is much better than the typical player who's attached to a salary dump for a pick and is just on a a reasonable expiring deal, so buying him out is basically the bare minimum that could've been expected at the time of the trade.

But is Miami still committed to moving Dragic?

Leonard picks the Raps and the rest of your list is probably Laker bound.

I'm hoping on KL back to the Raps. As for the rest of the list, I'm looking at Jabari Parker and Danny Green as potentials.

From what I understand they are, though I'm not sure why. A perimeter of Dragic, Jimmy, and Justise sounds good to me, but I guess it depends on what they get for Dragic.

This all sounds like Dragic asked for an opt out and sign long term deal (like Barnes did). Got told no. Decided best to opt in... and look for a trade to a team that might extend him or plans for him long term.

Doesn't fit in Brad Stevens' system.

Danny Ainge has always loved his assets.

I think Ainge will still keep his assets once again.

KCP is hated that much? Plus he's a free agent. It's not like he's restricted by the Lakers.

i personally do but theres still good contingency of laker fans who want him back at min, i prefer not....he really is a low iq player, he can shoot but whatever defensive rep he got from his det day clearly hasnt transferred to la.
